Pinecone Rendering

I'm finally done with this son of a bitch. Still needs a small details pass and the shadow basically needs to be re-done to be smoother but it was due today and it's unlikely I'll come back to fix it. Overall though I'm happy with the amount of color I managed to get into the final rendering and it's my first time really painting in Photoshop.

Temperature block in, with graphite rendering underneath.

Overall blocking, I was using straight color without much value at first, which probably helped keep as much color as I had in the final. You can see my palette on the right.

Final rendered pass, as I said earlier the shadow still needs a decent amount of work. It's way too blotchy.
